Arizona Governor Brewer has told CNN that she is ready to “meet [the Federal Government] in Court” if it decides to bring court proceedings against the state. Governor Brewer, with a sense of arrogance, stated that she has a pretty good record in court. Unfortunately for Governor Brewer, and the rest of the Arizona populace, she doesn’t get the point that the court battles that the state is going to have to fight to even have this law enforced are going to come with a very large bill for legal fees.
In this time of austerity, perhaps Governor Brewer should take the time to think what is best for the state of Arizona and not spend millions of dollars needlessly.
